The role

Find the next clients for Kirin's software engineering practice. You'll be sourcing companies in the US that need a senior team to build product, ship AI interfaces, fix what they've inherited, or rebuild for scale. Engagements typically run 8–16 weeks and land in the mid-five to mid-six-figure range.

We will close and deliver. You bring qualified leads to the table and own the relationship until the contract is signed.

Compensation

We're a startup, so we can't pay a base. What we offer instead is a real share of the upside: 20–30% of the profit on every client you bring us , for the lifetime of that client engagement. No cap, no claw-back on your half once a project ships. The exact split lands inside that range based on deal size and how much hand-holding the lead takes from first call to signed SOW.

One sourced engagement can outpay a year of base salary at a normal sales role. Two compounds it.

You probably fit if

  • You've sold consulting, agency, or B2B software services before — and have closed deals in the high five or six figures.
  • You have a network of founders, product leaders, or engineering execs at US companies that occasionally need outside help.
  • You're comfortable with a long-cycle, relationship-driven sale. Cold spray-and-pray won't work here.
  • You can run on commission. You don't need someone to set your week for you.

What we sell

Five practices: product engineering, design engineering, AI interfaces, audit & refactor, build-for-scale. Senior people only — no juniors, no account managers. The partners who pitch the work do the work. Our ideal client is a funded startup or a product team inside a larger company that already knows what they want to build and needs a small, sharp team to ship it.
